Better Than This was an original musical revue chronicling the evolution of women's roles in musical theatre. By celebrating iconic female characters from Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady) to Alison Bechdel (Fun Home), Better Than This examined why certain tropes persist and sought to change the narrative around the female “voice” in musicals.
